Gas Leak @ filler neck GONE

All of my RX-3s had a problem with gas leaking at the filler neck whenever I have a full tank of gas, occurs during cornering and such despite gas cap is new Problem: Lack of slosh shield @ filler neck. I solved this issue by switching to 81-85 RX-7 filler neck . I just came back from driving at the canyon and I'm happy with the result.

Cost wise:
81-85 filler neck and gas cap obviously: free from my pile of junk RX-7 parts.
2" x 9" long gas line: $20.
3/8-3/8-1/4 Plastic "Tee" or "Wye": $2

RX-3 (tall with 2 vent ports) VS FB (short; 1 vent port)

FB filler neck:

You need to drill 2 holes on the FB filler neck base to property install it to the RX-3. Once mounted, here ya go.

I just finished my black 73 RX-3. The FB filler neck hose (accordion style) works fine with no mod so no need to buy a new 2" new filler neck hose.

Did that to mine a while back. Still leaked on occasion, but it was better.

Who can afford a full tank of gas these days?
Oh, I forgot, Wacky is a high roller.
