fuel cell?
fuel cell?
Need advice on which fuel cell 2 get and was wondering if someone here is running one or might recommend a brand or company, its for a starlet 81 fuel injected rotary. Thanks for the input!
fuel cell
The fuel tank is located in the passenger rear corner next to the spare tire well.As far as dimensions its a 8 or 10 gallon ball of junk even when the thing is empty it ways a ton! I Was thinking of putting the fuel cell in the trunk over the spare tire well(im going to weld it flat)so its got a good place to sit.

Hello Homeboy!
you should post some pictures of the trunk so people can get a better idea!
Also you should start a thread on the build up of your super project!! looking good!!

Thanks for your help with this matter! PS Those dogs are the best had one dont have room for other.
Are you going to use the starlet on the street as your daily driver car?? or just racing?? Im using a 4 gallon RCI fuel cell on my starlet but my I only use my starlet to race. If yours is for the street get you a 8 or 12 gallon fuel cell.
If it is for a daily driver and you don't plan on running methanol anytime soon i would highly suggest an aluminium cell. You will also have to have something to separate the cell from the passenger compartment. If i recall correctly NHRA requires a .053" minimum aluminum sheet to separate you from the cell. They also offer the larger cells with fuel level sending units.
