fuel boiling after shutoff.

my rx-3 has a stock 12-a with a dellorto + heatshield + one piece rotary reliability intake manifold. . i cant figure it why the fuel inside the fuel bowl is boiling after shutoff . can some1 explain this to me?

Well it looks like your are still getting heat from somewhere. Try header wrap for the exhaust and look where your fuel line runs. It can pick up heat. Maybe the heat shield between the carb and intake isn't good enough....try space shuttle tile

actually, i noticed similar problem using the stock rx-7 carb prior to the upgrade. I even put it back last night and i got same result.

i had this type of problem on my rx-2 when one of my floats was set wrong. it only spit gas out of one side of the carb so I took the top off, checked the settings of the floats and the one that was boiling out was letting the fuel level get too high. I made it go lower and the boil over after shut down stopped. . .
