Found an old friend after 25 years absence.

Ok, so I have been whoring this pic around the internet the last week or so.

Got a PM from a guy looking for me to sign a bill of sale since a national VIN search said the car he had was in my name.

After a bit a emailing, research and such to figure out which Rx2 this was, it turned out to be my second car ever. I actually started dating my wife in this car.

This was built as an AutoX car in the mid 80's by a friend of the family. I picked it up from him around 1988 and drove it daily.

Not sure what the build on this will look like yet. I am on the tail end of a frame off REPU build. Once the REPU is complete I will start playing with the Rx2.

I certainly bought it. I could not pass it up after confirming it was my second car.

Between this car and my REPU, I have my "book ends" of a 25 year long "rotorhead" life.

REPU is coming along slowly. Trans mount is will be completed this week. Then I can have the drive shaft made. Interior is 90% complete. Still need to install/wire the ECU, plumb the fuel lines and brake lines.
