Just gotan e-mail from Mazda, the RX-8 design has been finalized and can be seen at www.mazdausa.com. Production release date is 2003. It has strong reminders of the Honda S2000.

For all you and the rest of us know, the RX-8 is the closest predecessor to the RX-7. Hence the name RX-8. Therefore, this section of the forum is an appropriate place for my post. Additionally, as I stated before, I just recieved the e-mail from Mazda.

the rx8 isn't a predecessor to the RX7, its a successor.
