Eunos Cosmo Style Question

I'm looking at JC Eunos Cosmo cars to import, and a big factor for me is the exterior styling. The options I'm focusing on are the spoiler and the illuminated logo on the skirt. What determines if the car has these features? It seems to be random among all years and trims. Were they just additional optional things? Thanks

These were dealer options, so they have their own part numbers which aren't exactly in the main Parts Catalogs that I am aware of. Also, there were illuminated and non-illuminated side skirts available too. On the plus side, there's a lot more CORRECT info available than there was 5 years ago in regard to how things work on the Cosmo. So at least you'll be off to a good start. One thing I would suggest above all else is that when you find one you like, send me the VIN and I'll tell you how it came from the factory with a Translated Build Sheet.

While i don't have much info for your question, i remember reading a few sites that had specs for JC cosmo, one being craigs rotary page, and the other DMRH website which is no longer active but an archived version of the site can be viewed at the link below, there may be some good info for you there

Craig's Rotary Page: Eunos JC Cosmo (20B Engine)

You could also search "Eunos Cosmo" on YAJ and see what comes up.

I have picked up a few of the the rear lock ornaments that way,
