BC driving the RX3 again after 18 years

6 years into the build I'm driving the RX3 until I strip it down for body and paint.

Every bolt has been off and everything was rebuilt or replaced before reasembled.

12a 1/2 bridge with moded nikki, long runners to 3 inch over the axel. Stock 4 speed with rx7 LSD and rear brakes. 4 piston caliper brakes up front. Interior all stock. All new bushings, shocks, etc.

Just a blast to be driving it around again.

Total strip down planned this fall for body and paint. Concidered a color change to blue (sprayed the engine bay), but I'm going to stay with the flare yellow (right now still the original factory paint).

It is really nice to see another old school rotary hitting the streets in B.C. My rx4 has gone through a similar process but will not be road ready till next summer. Are you in the lower mainland area?

Sweet ride, enjoy driving her. I just finished my REPU and I never thought I would enjoy driving it as much as I do. I put about 60-80 miles a week depending on the weather.

How's that 1/2 bridge been treating you. I miss the bridgy but the PP is sooo nice. SNK has a 51 IDA i'm going to try and get.

1/2 bridge pulls hard. low end better than I had hoped for.

Exhaust is louder than than I had planned. Had a few leaks that I'll deal with and I'll put much more sound proofing in the car when she goes back together after paint.

Did it right! Stripped it all the way down to give in a new color coat. Big project but it's gonna be really nice when you're done.

bringing the car home for christmas

Paint is done. last step was to oil all the hidden areas for preservation. Saw the car yesterday, oil still dripping from the treatment.

Just looking for a nice day to get it home.

Happy, Happy ED!!!!
