Do pitman arms need to be replaced?
I've got my steering linkage out of the car so I can remove the overspray, repaint the center link, control arms, struts and calipers. I've got new tie rods and balljoints, but don't know what to do with the pitman arm. It's got a little ball joint pressed into it and I can't find them online anywhere. Are they typically replaced, or is there a similar part off a RX-7 or B-truck that I can use?

Yes that is a wearable part. If you are replacing the idler arm, you should replace the pitman arm. The 2 perform essentially the same function on different sides of the vehicle.
I just ordered a pitman arm, along with all my bushings, tie-rods, ball joints, and idler arm, from a shop in Australia. Hopefully it will all fit, without any dramas.
