I actually have to get rid of the car now. My homeowners association is going to fine me for working on the car. I have it completely torn apart right now on the drive way. "Motorwise" But it still looks like a car and they said it's inoperable and also say that working on vehicles is prohibited in this community. So the short version is that if I work on the car anymore I will get fines, and possibly forced to move. I gave Arnel first crack at the car, but if we can't strike a deal it goes back on the market. I am pretty bummed out about it too. I convinced myself that I could figure it out and make the damn thing work and then this happened today.
I hate my neighbors and this neighborhood!!!!! I know who it is that's complaining too. That's what makes it so damn irritating. I want to just go and whoop the crap out of him.

I'm going to push the car in the Garage today and at least get the motor out. That should only take 30 minutes. So after that I can take to get repaird. Then after it's fixed I can figure out how to get it back in. My lady and I discussed it and figured we have at least one more warning before we get the dreaded Board Meeting. So I'm going to at least try and make that effort. I'll have the garage half shut so someone will have to be making an effort to look in to see what I am doing.

You aren't even allowed to work on a car in your own garage? That's like a regulation preventing you from eating Chinese food in your own kitchen.
How do they define "work on cars"? What if every morning you checked your oil in the driveway? Can you get in trouble for being seen opening your hood?
I can't imagine living in a place like that.

That was my arguement on this issue. I asked them what exactly defines performing maintenence. I also stated that some people don't need to pay the dealerships to check their oil or wash their cars for them. Apparently they say changing oil and other maintenance actions are prohibited. They wrote the rule very vague just for this scenario.
I can't stand this community though, and really want to move.

I'm on a fence right now with the car. If I get what I am asking for on it then it will go. But if no one wants to pay for the car then I have no problems keeping it. I will clean out the inside and snap some shots for you.

Check on the photobucket album again. I've added some pictures of the seats, headliner and door panels. The rear seat tops need to be redone and the fronts are torn, but the center panels are still in great shape and can be reused. The dash is pulled apart right now because I am putting in autometer guages. I still have it apart waiting for the cups from autometer. Other then that it's in nice shape and the dash pad is covered with a dash mat. The dash pad is all messed up. If you need anything else let me know.

Like I said before. If I get what I am asking for on the car then it's for sale. If not then I will keep it. I've got to keep moving forward because I hate for stuff to sit around.
