thats an okay price unless you get lucky and find something in the junk yard. Mazda trix sells these at these prices brand new so all in all your getting a good deal.

Front oil cover $140-150

Oil pan $150

Oil Metering pump $233.00

do the math.

Thumbs up Listen To ME!!!

The pic i showed was my turbo II MOTOR with the gsl-se front oil cover and the gls-se oil pan placed or put on in the correct position. If you turn the oil pan 180 degrees you have to redrill holes on the oil pan. Your fine

yOUR OMP that is turbo will not work!!! You have to use the 1984-1988 OMP N/A one. Come on man stay with me. This motor should have been in the car by now. hahahaha im JK.

there is nothing to figure out. You can't use the Turbo OMP on the gsl-se front oil cover.

Hmm, why would you make new holes and tap them if you flip the oil pan around?

It seems much easier to take a drill and a dremel, and "adjust" the holes on the pan itself... No welding required even! I saw a SR20DET 510 in sport compact car a long time ago, and have loved street 510's ever since, I was even debating on doing the same project you are doing, but just dont have the garage/tools/ money to do it YET! Keep it up bro!

Thanks guys. I am the guy selling the oil pan,and front cover(yeah those are my feet),and I have been telling 510wagon that he is worrying about nothing with the GSL-SE oil pan being longer than the 88 oil pan he has. I have sent him pics of a 87 pan,and front cover mounted with the length from the back of the front cover to the back of the pan,and the same measurment of the -SE pan,and front cover. They are the same distance, becasue the blocks are the same regardless of if it is a 84/85 -SE,or a 86-91 13B block. Heck I am pretty sure the TII block is the same length, only it is a 4 port instead of 6-port engine. I am giving him a sweet deal on these parts I think, and they are packaged upa,nd ready to go,but he is still hesitant. I don't know what else to tell him.I am selling all the parts he needs to front engine mount a 13B in either a 1st gen RX-7,or any other car his heart desires. I even have the OMP,but I need to clean it up still.

i think Asterisk was saying just drill the oil pan where the holes are already drilled and taped on the TII i think thats right. if I'm short a couple holes no prop i can drill and tap.

I cant believe your still cant figure out the oil pan. the best way to do this (so you know what we are talking about) put your motor on the stand turn it around so the bottom of the motor is facing up. Now place the oil pan 180 degree now you will see that there's some hole that wont live up on the oil pan holes, those are the one you need to drill/tap and a new thread to. easy enough

Asterisk....because some of the hole from block are not the one that are in question, its actually the ones near the corner where oil is most likely to leak. thats why it much better if you drill/tap new thread to match the oil pan.

Bahah... like pages 2-5 are all about the same subject: front cover/oil pan.

Im'a repeat everyone here : Buy a GSL-SE oil pan and front cover, and get a pre-88 N/A OMP and all the parts will work.

Next question

You could buy MY front cover and OMP, and just get a GSL-SE oild pan (don't think a 12a oil pan will work.

It would be cheaper and more convenient.

Can someone confirm that a 12a front cover and oil pan will work? I don't think the the oil pan would fit.
