I got 205's in the back and no rubbing. Maybe you are talking about the fronts? I like to run a smaller tire in the front to give it a sportier look. When these tires wear out I'll switch to the 195/50/15 for the fronts and keep the 205's in the rear as I don't have any problems in the rear with clearance. Man, I drove the car with the new wheels today and boy what a difference from the stocker 13's. Love em. Thanks guys for all the help.

Mine did rub a little on the fronts @ the front valence when I ran 205s awhile back. It was only when turning all the way though, so was tolerable. With 205s the offset is more critical, I think if I had a little less offset they wouldn't have rubbed. Mine has rolled fenders and tweaked suspension though, so it's probably a little different than a stock RX-2.

well, if you guys don't mind some fender rolling, you can run wider wheels. i have 205 stretched in the fronts and 235 rears.. rolled fenders. looks like a mini-dragger...

I would think the low offcet on the wheels should allow the 205's to fit in the front as well. If you ever try bolting them in the front let me know. I was planning on 205/50/15 all around on mine but if they caused that many people problems I may need to find or order wheels with less offcet.
Later, -Kevin.

By the way, here are the overall tire measurements for the different tire size(in inches).
205/50/15 = 23.070866
194/45/15 = 21.909448
195/50/15 = 22.677165
185/70/13 = 23.196850 - stock first gen alloys.
195/60/14 = 23.212598 - 1983 rx-7 limited edition 14 inch alloys

When I search tirerack.com for 195/45/15 I only got 3 results. 195/50/15 gets 21 results.
That may give you a good reason to switch later on. I am planning on putting the 14 inch alloys from my 83 rx-7 on my duece as soon as I get time to refinish them.
