I saw thqt right after it went up, the reserve was only $1000 !! I am not sure if it was a buy now auction or not but I know the seller is very happy how fast and by how much it passed his reserve.

the reserve was 1000?
what a deal that would have been if not on auction.
good deal for the seller, and for the value of all the old
school mazdas

tthats what I said. I saw it with 2 bids it was 1000 and the reserve was met. If I would have seen it with a buy now of 1000 I would already have it.

I bet there was a buy now and someone tried to get cheap and blew it. Made good money for the seller though!

I wonder if the guy even knew how rare and desirable the car was before he put it up for auction?

Out here in So Cal the going price for one in that condition is going to be 7 to 9K.

Did anyone see this one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2454477217

Not quite as nice as the 1st, but still - what are the chance of 2 R-100s on eBay at the same time? I'm not sure how I missed this one, a guy I met today in the parking lot of my sister's apt. told me about it when he heard my REPU and came over to check it out. I assumed he was talking about the $7k one but I was mistaken.
