Change the bolt pattern on RX3 front brakes?

If your looking at the 8.8 rearend I would look at getting a 8.8 out of a Ford Explorer 1997-2000 I believe. They come from the factory with disk brakes and 31 spline axles. That right there will save you lots of headaches and you will have a very strong rearend. The only thing you will need to get done is get the housing and axles cut to fit into your RX-2.

This is the Ford housing next to the stock rear end. Not much too it really. This picture doesnt show the shock mounts that I had welded on after.

Again beutiful work guys, and thanks for the 411 on the build ups. Im currently trying to get all the pieces to finish my 77' sp. back to factory specs i need the bumpers rear window chrome trim piece and the right "vent" next to window (just in case if u have these laying around?) also as far as replacing original shocks and struts I havent really researched it too tuff but what would be my best bet. thamnks in advance for any info.-Erik

I think this is the only other pic I have of the 9 inch in the car. It installs just like a factory one. Buy some U-bolts and strap her in.

very nice looking car you have there. Tony is has some very cool stuff for the Rotary's. I usually talk to him about Corolla stuff, but after getting my RX-4 and reading this post it seems we'll have more to talk about now.
