cargo rack

Does anyone know where to get replacement strips for a 74 RX4 cargo rack on the trunk or if there is a different way to do it let me know. The ones I have are sun beat and dont look good. Thanks

Are you referring to the metal pieces, or are there plastic or something else that sits inside them? Pic of what you are looking for?

I have the metal pieces but there is like a piece of laminate that lays inside of them. I will try and get a picture when I get a chance.

Hmmm.... Mine have nothing in them, and it doesn't appear there ever was. Interested to see what you come up with.

I have a 73 rx3 wagon with the rack and yes mine is the same , it has a ((rubber )) ??? or some kind of plastic insert . Don't know what holds it there but me thinks that you will need to make something and install it , maybe glue in place or silicone . I doubt you can buy the strips but if you use your imagination you should be able to find something that will do the job . There must be some kind of a trim that comes in a roll that will work for you . Gerald m

Ok glad I'm not the only one who had this "insert", I will start thinking about what I can use and let you all know what I come up with.
