bridge port
I have a bridge port engine in my street car and the neighbors are starting to look at me funny because of the noise. Would the racing beat muffler quiet the car some?

The answer is YES the RB exhaust will drastically reduce the noise. May still sound loud to most. However, its true as above mentioned - you dont want to muffle out the sweet sound! Brap is what its all about.

It's a tough balance. Muffled vs. choked.
I like a short primary system with mufflers, not as sensative to restriction. I made a header around RB specs and collected to megaphone ending at 3.5". I split this to dual 2.5" and ran two RB Power pulse silences for the TII. After that point I tried Edelbrocks and superturbos with decent results. Quieter really does seem to be slower with a Bridge. The main thing I noticed was using thick wall tubing to a thickwall primary silencer was key. After that you have softened the blow for the main muffler. At the back of the car a bit of the exhaust heat has disipated and the gas is more dense (smaller) so a 3" 3rd Gen RSR main might be a good choice.

glass pack resonator help any?
I'm about to put in a Kragen brand glass pack resonator, im sure the glass will melt in short time frame, is it even worth installing? I have headers->straight pipe->muffler now
(cost about $35 to install) & $0 for brand new resonator (stock 12A BTW)
Thoughts?

how is the performance using 2 mufflers in series.

i can tell my neighbors hate me with my bridge. The exhuast isnt hooked up right out of the header, just pipes resting inside the ones from the header, and both of the mufflers are blown with huge holes in em.
im trying to think of what the best way to calm the car down a little bit would be. im thinking of using a 2.5" piping with 2 racing beat presilencers and a t2 muffler at the rear. i dont want to choke the engine, but i also dont want my ears to bleed.

On my setup I made sure to use 2.25 inch SS tubing and elbows with a 3mm wall thickness. It collects into a single 2.25" 22" long, through a Saab turbo muffler then over the diff into a RB Road race muffler. This is an all motor full 6 port BP with the regular RB carb filter. The thicker tubing made a world of difference.
