TX Brake/Lug Options For RX2

Im not so sure this has been covered before. and if it has i haven't been able to find it. so here this goes.

as of right now i have a 72 RX2 with 4x110 bolt pattern. its has all stock RX2 brakes with drums in the back. so id have to just put FB rear discs on the back courtesy of the bracket from RE-Speed. which isnt a problem. and pretty straight forward.

BUT the question is this. can i just drill the hubs and rotors to the 5x114 pattern. and run my 5 lug rims? OR am i oversimplifying it?

can you just re drill the hubs and rotors? press in some studs and ride off into the sunset? and if so Will that fly on the front as well?

keep in mind i dont plan on taking this car to the drag strip or anything anytime soon if ever, just want a weekend toy. to terrorize the streets in...

I looked into doing that but from what I remember the rear axle isn't big enough for the 5x114.not really sure since its been a while.

there is not enough material on the flange to drill a 5 lug,or a larger 4 lug.
