bisQuit`s 73 Rx2 prosjekt "Godzilla"

Hi!

First of all. Let me apology my bad English. Im Norwegian so..

I thought i should tell you abit of my project this winther. The car some of you already know as Godzilla Defence Force is a 1973 Mazda Rx2 Sedan. Allready the car got plenty of modifications but we are not gona stop here.

Modifications at this time is following.

- S5 T2 motor, street ported, 15k on the motor.
- Rebuilt S5 turbo with about 1k miles, ported waste gate.
- Custom 3″ exhaust.
- Haltech e6k.
- 550cc Primarys 1600cc secondays.
- Custom turbo manifold.
- Front mount IC 22X12 core.
- Front poly bushings, about 300 miles on them.
- Sway bar spacer.
- S5 T2 tranny.
- Custom drive shaft.
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump.
- 15X8 OZ racing mesh wheels.
- Bucket seats.
- HKS Blow off valve

Currently the car is in the bodyshop getting some rust welded around the windscreen and parts are being shipped in from around the world. I hope the car would be back in my garage within 20th of august. The engine will be removed and the engine room would be sandblasted, welded and repainted before we would mount a new intercooler, radiator and oil cooler that would fit the car better than the existing.

What would be done?

• Hilux axle convertion from Australia
• Aerospace front brake kit
• Roll cage
• Carbon fibre dashboard (Custom made by me)
• Doorpanels and backseat would be covered in black leather.
• New headliner, floor carpet in order from Australia.
• Gt 42R turbo charger
• Sparco Rev front seats

And yeah.. The paint theme would be intact.

Guess next year I would take the exterior of the car down to the metal and respray it in “Godzilla Colors”

I will try to keep this post updated with pictures and everything.

Dude, I didn't know you sold your car! You just installed that turbo motor. Do you have another project in the works now?

Yup, got a FD track car going.. and had no room to keep both cars... so one had to go... was sad driving my rx-2 for the last time.

Well hopefully one of these days I'll take a vaction to norway and see how the duece looks once its finished up.

Glad it went to a good home.

I understand, it's tough trying to find room for more than one car let alone funding them.

Sad to say that she now got some electrical issues Cant seem to get her startet. Tried to follow the wiring and all thats left to try is to make another ground cable from the chassie to the engine to hope that it would work than.

If not i guess il have to build a entire new electrical system on the whole car!

No Problem!

Take her to an electro mechanic... Trouble shooting her should be easy... They will start her up just by looking at her... Cheap fix... Like $30.00 US.
