Aussie Supercharged RX8

Here is more info on the Supercharged RX8 down under. They are using the PowerMod to tune it.

I took this car for a weekend away & loved it. The centrigugal blower makes the engine behave much like a stock atmo engine only with heaps more power.

Loved evry part of this. The 13B-MSP engine makes a fine engine in supercharged form.

Do you know if any mods had to be made to the tranny or suspension to handle the extra power?

It will appeal to the tuner crowd buying up used rx8s for under $20k. I'm leaving my rx8 stock. I love it the way it is.

I meant after.

I'de rather wait for the Pettit kit. It probably isn't that bad, but people thought the Camden supercharger was going to be great.

Mate, its totally stock at the moment. No sports clutch or gearbox mods. Just a blower on the engine.

The clutch felt strong for the weekend I had it. Drove like a standard car with the exception of all that extra power.

Cant imagine the clutch lasting the same length of time as a standard engined 13B-MSP would allow
