Anyone intersted in a 1973 RX-3 Coupe?

Found this 1973 Rx-3 Coupe in a wrecking yard yesterday and the yard will not sell parts off of it but offered me the whole car. The car is restorable and very complete. The doors, front and rear fenders and front bumper are very straight and have minimal damage to them. The glass all around is complete and in very good shape. The roof has a few shallow dents. The car has suffered a light hit to the rear but I think is repairable. The interior is severly heat damaged but is complete. The hood is terrible and unuseable. The car comes with the original 12A engine and 4 speed transmission. The car has no keys so rust in unknown in the trunk area. The car does not have a salvage title. The title has been lost and is considered a "no record" car. The wrecking yard tells me that a new title can be issued through the DMV. The car has been sitting in this spot for over 20 years. It probably needs everything to get it back on the road. I have no time for another project but want to get the car to resell to someone looking for one of these rare cars. Email me for more photos of the car if interested. Thanks. r100guy@usa.net

Try posting on www.vintagerotaries.com also. Might get somebody interested on there. Also on www.nopistons.com

Looks to be intact, but a very large project.

looks pretty bad, not unrestorable, but more work than its worth to just buy one that runs. That car would need at least all the brakes, new engine, some suspension, and hopefuly the electrical is still good. If you just went out and bought a nice one for 3k you would be way ahead $$$. I just sold mine on ebay, mine was wasy better than that one but did have some filler and i got a 1000. so if the yard wants any more than about 500 bux i wouldent buy it. I would part it myself. there migh be a 1000 in parts on it, depending on how good the nosecone, grill etc. are.

It is also called a project, and if you are dedicated, you would buy it and finish it. But for 500 bucks, I would buy it and part it for other RX-3 owners to be more fortunate.
