I am trying to remove the key cylinder from the ignition, but I can't get it out. There is a hole on the left side when facing the steering column that I depress with an awl. It seems to press in the spring that locks the key cylinder in place, but I can't pull it out. Is there something else I need to do? Do I have to remove the ignition switch in the back of the key cylinder to remove it? Help is appreciated.
