hey guys, i may end up having to scrap my rx2 project, since its body is in some pretty bad shape. im trying to gauge the value of replacing the metal on mine against just picking up another and swapping the almost immaculate interior over to it. i dont know how much they go for in decent bodily shape and since i got mine for $75 i think i should consider both options. i recently got it running. . . only to move it about 10 feet (out of the garage). came back a couple days later and couldnt get it started so. . .

anyways, id like to know if anyone has something out there that i could buy and just swap over. . .

I just saw one here in SoCal in the Recycler (used **** weekly). $3500.

 

They are pretty tough to find. I went and checked out one about a year ago, and the guy wanted $3500 for it. Nothing special, but of course in Cali, you can be pretty sure that the rust is minimal.

If I see one out here, I will let you know.

 

thanks a lot!!! those prices are pretty much what i was figuring. im going to get some rough quotes on what it might cost to replace the metal on it. . . and if its roughly the same, then ill probably stick with mine. i wanna do some other things during that process.
