Anyone have pics of all the ceramic apex seals that have been sold for Mazda's rotaries? I've seen the white Dr. Iannetti apex seals and the grey one-piece (and one sping..) ceramic seals that were allegedly installed in the natural gas pump version that was available... are there any others??

-I'm currently checking out an engine that allegedly had ceramic apex seals installed by a local shop in the late '90's...but no brand was specified, the shop no longer exists (not surprised)...

No pics, but there were "csiro" ceramic seals available here back in the late 80s/early 90s - some of which I believe sold there. One of the local shops was selling their own brand a few years ago too, but well after that date.

 

The 2 ceramics that i came across were the NRS and the Ianetti. I believe the NRS were from canada
the ceramics work great and in a heartbeat they dont and they destroy everything in their path.
personally i would avoid any ceramics for a turbo charged application. Not a path i am willing to take ever again. It is a nightmare

if its in the 90s it’s probably ianetti. NRS came out early to mid 2000s if i recall
