Air Pump Removal

I Have An 88 Fc And Want To Free Up Some Extra Hp. I`ve Removed The A/c And The P/s Next Move Is To Go With The Electric Fan.i`ve Heard Of Wireing The Ports But I`ve Also Seen Some Cars W/o The Air Pump And Port Sliders.what I`m Trying To Ask Is What Do I Have To Go Through To Remove It And How Much Hassel Will I Go Through.p.s I `ve Just Been In A Car Wreck My Fualt And I Need Some Info On Parts For The Front End.any Replies Will Be Appreciated.

You'll find a lot of help in the FC forum. Very few people on this side use 6-port motors, and our buckets are all old enough that we haven't had an air pump for a long time.
