76 Rx-3 grill question

Does a 76 Rx-3 grill have the rotor emblem in the middle or did they do away with it that year?

They have the white 'MAZDA' script (on the left hand side of the car)

Why do I think yet another RX3 grille is headed for eBay?

rofl, you know me all too well! Yup, I'm trying to see if it's worth it for me to buy. Will cost me about 100.00. 50 for grille, 50 for shipping from canada. If it doesn't come with the center emblem it would probably not go for too much on ebay though, maybe 150.00

You did great on that 808 grille! That was my motivation to start selling again, didn't you get like 300.00 for it?

Over $300, yes. My Fiesta "motor of Death" fund is getting pretty beefy.
$50 shipping from Canada? Sounds like you're getting hosed.
That's more than the shipping cost from the US to Australia!

Yeah last time it only cost me about 30.00 from canada but on the phone they estimated 50.00 this time. Maybe because of the dollar has weakened. Still deciding if it's worth it or not.

$300.00 woohooo!! I only got 150.00 for my 808 grille but that's what my reserve was at.

Yeah, I was pretty stoked. My reserve was set at $125. I had to relist the item because at first I included a sentence saying that overseas buyers had to pay with paypal and add 3% to cover paypal's charges which as it turns out is forbidden by eBay rules. So evidently SOMEBODY got offended by this and turned the auction in to eBay, who promptly yanked it.
So I was especially pleased when the SECOND auction went so high!

I'm building an XR2 replica motor but with a hotter cam, bigger carb (Weber 34 DMTR), and a ported big valve head. Yeah I know... ARCHAIC, but when I'm done I'll have about 125 hp in a 1760 lb. car with good reliability and around 30 mpg. The hardest thing'll be getting the power to the ground as I can't really afford a Quaiffe, even if I could find one. I did recently score a set of 13X6 Panasports (the really light non-street legal ones) for $300, so that'll help a little. I also got a 130 mph speedo (!) from Britain to replace the stock 80 mph unit.
Anyway, I ended up taking 4th place for the season in FSP out of about 24 entrants which is not too bad.
The hardest part has been maintaining my concentration without "over-thinking" the whole situation. That, and not missing GATES lol. On the plus side, I've only ever hit ONE cone. But enough about Fiestas, this is a rotary forum after all.

nope, I sold my 75 rx3 to Keith before the smog laws changed He has invested too much into it for me to buy back from him. It's the red 3 from sevenstock with the second gen calipers on it. He also has that nice blue gslse with the Aussie blinkers. I got a set of those blinkers myself sitting on my shelf right now for my turbo se once I finish it. I'm not gonna install them until I paint the car which could be awhile.

I do sell lots of rx3 grills though
