76 Cosmo AC Work

Well after owning my Cosmo for a few years now, I have sweated out a few summers without AC.

Well not anymore, I replaced a hose that had a hole in it, changed out the oil, got a new drier and charged it with R152A

The hose i got made at a local hydr shop, they are all compression fitting, the drier i finally found at autozone of all places. The R152A is plan old can duster. There is two different types of can duster one is R134A and the other is R152A

I do have one question, does anyone know what the total system charge volume is for the dealer installed AC system?

Here was the outside temp

Here is the system pressures @ 700rpms (28psi Low Side/ 170psi High Side)

Here is what the vent temp was @ 700rpms

I dont know the total systme volume........but as long as you watch the pressures on the high side, you should have no problems. Just be considerate of how high the pressure could get on a hot day, and gas the system accordingly

Yea, the high side was what I was judging off of, it seems to be closes to charged.
