Rebuilding the steering and the seal for the idler arm needs replaced. This is not the version that uses bushings. Anyone have a part number or a lead on a replacement option? Or is there a bushing based alternative i can swap out?

Solved it! Seal from Grainger. 16 x 24 x 4 mm. Item 52WA49

Do you have more pics of the idler arm ? Is it screwed into the idler housing ? Did you replace the (metal?) bush?

 

yea it threads in as shown in the diagram. The bushing i didn't replacement, appears bronze. I re-greased it. I don't foresee how you could replace that piece but mine didn't appear to have significant wear. That said the seal was essentially toast and was a water intrusion concern
