74 Repu

is the front cover on the repu the same as the GSL-SE? besides the OMP?
iam installing a 91 engine in a 74 repu. i have a gsl-se front cover thats brand new.

also whats with the tensioner on the oil pump chain? i took the front cover off and was like whats that?!?!?

It will fit, and the motor mounts are the same. I dont know about the OMP. I used a regular 12a front cover on my REPU with a 6-port 13b. I think the older front covers are all about the same except if you get into the twin dizzies.

What motor had a tensioner?

you used a 12a front cover on a 13b 6 port motor? how is that i thought there not the same. and the 74 4 port had the tensioner i asked a friend and he said some older engines had them

the oil pans are different 12a from 13b bolt pattern and size of lip

the gsl se front cover works fine in repu.

must use repu oil pan

does your repu happen to have a hood scoop? there was a green hood scooped repu for sale up there a few years ago. smoked and loud.

For my 6-port 13b I used the 12a front cover that was on the blown up motor in my REPU when I got it. I guess I cant say for certain what that front cover originally came off, but I guess it to be the 12a.
I believe the GSL-se oil pan is the same as the REPU, as I am pretty sure that is what I had bought for mine since they are easier to come by.

And yes, my 93 is red as well. Nice choice of vehicles/color combos
