'73 Carb Adjustment

Ok guys.... I used to remember this stuff.

I have a 73 carb that has the two mixture screws. These are on the base of the carb. Standing on drivers side looking across the motor at the carb there is an upper and lower one. Upper is big the lower is smaller.

If not mistaken once emissions came into play the lower one was capped so you could not mess with it.

I seem to remember a good starting point after a carb rebuild was to screw them all the way in and back them out a curtain number of turns. Any one got an idea?

if not mistaken, the big button is the air while the small one is for fuel.
