CA 71 Corolla 13b swap....info needed!!!

My buddy just recently picked up a 71 with a blown motor. Playing with the thought of swapping it out, but we have little if any experience with this type of project.

What we have so far:

- 13b NA motor (Bad coolant seal)

What we need:

- tranny ( one that fits according to the corolla's small size)
- any info or suggestion's for how to properly execute this type of build.

Thanks for reading and appreciate any pointers you can offer a swap noob! Thx.

- Ed

Hello Ed
what year 13B you using? if is an earlier one if much easier using the front engine mounts, matching tranny and shorting the shifter remote , there been a few transplant like that before.
How about some pictures????

come and see me. I have a gutless 13-B motor and tranny that I use for mock-up. You can use it.

Talk about a waste of a good Corolla. Keep these slow rotary engines where they belong.....

J/K. I'd love to see pic's of the rolla though. What body style did you get? Peanut or Mango?

Google it. People in Puerto Rico put these Rotary's in everything, and nothing is as popular as the old school RWD Corollas! I'm sure a shop there has everything you need in one place.
