After trying to get my friend to show everyone his car for about a year i decided to take matters into my own hands!

Damn that looks hot, 13B-RX3 what part of texas are you from? My friend just bought a BIG *** house in San Antonio for cheap.. thinking about maybe moving out there aswell.. Onlyonthurs: How do you like it in San Antonio?

Thanks for posting up the pics of my car Allen. It's a shame that they turned so dark, that shop needs better lighting! It felt good to be working on it again today. The progress on yours has really got me wanting to get mine finished!!

Hey Trainwreck, thanks for the compliment. Come on down and visit your buddy,check out S.A., but make sure you bring the RX2 we would all like to see it! Old school imports are not real common around here, and tend to draw a lot of attention. Very few people know what Allen's and I's cars are. I'ts either "what kind of car is that?" or "nice Vega"lol. I even heard one guy tell his buddy "yeah , I used to have a barracuda just like that".

I too am moving to Corpus Christi, Texas in December. I would like to see this your car one day.

 

Yeah, a 20b is a very tight fit in a 1200! It's going to get very cramped once I build the exhaust manifold and add the turbo(GT42 or S400). Since it's also going to be street legal, I used the largest radiator I could fit, which leaves very little room for an electric fan. It's still in the mock-up stage. That 's why the engine bay isn't painted yet. I might have to shift things around some untill I find the best way to make it all fit.

SBMotors, let me know when you want to come check it out. Maybe I can take you by to see 13B-Rx3's car also, It's very impressive. I whish mine was at that stage!!

 

I will take you up on that. It'll be late December or early January before I get settle in there, but I definitely want to meet rotary and old school import people. I'll be doing alot of traveling between Corpus and Dallas (In-Laws live there), so hopefully I'll meet alot of people and do alot things along that route.
