1975 RX3 found! Worth Saving?
1975 RX3 found! Worth Saving?
Found this Rx-3 in Southern Idaho. Has a messed up rear quarter panel and some surface rust on the trunk. All original and complete though. Part out or rebuild?
Deciding factor would be the rust in the trunk / wheel well areas. But then again, anything can be fixed. I say fix it or sell it to me

Took a few more photos of the RX-3 today and the car looks pretty good. The passenger side quarter panel had been hit and repaired poorly and the bondo is all cracked. Rust seems really not too bad but repairs would be pretty costly. The car looks to have the original motor and the interior is complete and original but very dried out from the sun.
Buy it and drop a rebuild in possibly all motor with some insane kind of port or a turbo 13bt.
With the right setup you can have that beast pulling some wheelies off the line and running 10s or better!

John.
I'd say rebuild the 3. Then when you are done with that. Go out and find a Cosmo, REPU, SA, FB, FC, and FD. Then you will be done with it and have the whole collection of restored rotaries...

Good Find!
Looks like you rescued from some kind of stripping/scrap yard!
Like everyone says, if you got the time and place to stored and fix it, keep it, soon or later you will find a parts car with the parts need it to fix your.
