1975 Cosmo HP

Can anybody point me to where I could find horsepower and torque stats on a 1975 Cosmo?

Thanks!

www.google.com

entered "Mazda Cosmo horsepower"

Clicked on first link ( http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/G...s/history.html )

Found that the RX-5 (aka Cosmo) was not produced until 1976. Therefore a 1975 Cosmo makes zero HP.

Go back to Google... add "1976" to list of search criteria. Find this one halfway down the page - http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/history.html - and find that the '76 Cosmo started life with 135hp, in Australia. http://www.stormpages.com/fe3t/Rotary/RX5.html has specs from Road and Track - 110hp, 120lb-ft of torque, in US trim.

He was going by the door frame thing which most likely says it was built some time in '75. This means it was sold as a '76 model; hence the confusion.

Hey, there's a trrific article in this month's Road & Track about the Cosmo past and future! It's in the same issue as the RX-8 cover.
