Hey Matt22,
I don't have the article on my computer, so can't post it. The vehicle was in ok condition when I got it. I did major sevice, wheels, tires, suspension rubber, shocks and interior pieces. Aside from that, it is close to as how I bought it. Anybody see the article yet?

Where did you find an original Cosmo in the USA? I've always wondered where the handful of Cosmos in the States came from. I've always lusted after one.

And yes, post pics!

I found the mag today. I don't have a scanner but I will try to get shots with my camera and hopefully get them hosted by late afternoon.

Hey Matt22,

I have seen the mag. in many Safeways and Albertsons. Barnes and Noble or Borders should have it for sure! My Cosmo wasn't at 7stock, I believe that one belongs to Mazda USA.

Barnes and Noble for me. IT has 3 Proto Corvettes on the cover.

THe guy that owns the Cosmo in the mag is a Dr. Wayman Tang. I think it the same guy that had a FD on the Mazda Site.

Enjoyed the article in "Motor Trend Classic"! The only other Cosmo with the 110S emblem on the nose that I know of is in the Mazda museum in Hiroshima. I wonder how many 110s were actually made. All of the other cars I have seen have the "Cosmo" emblem on the nose.
The Mazda Cosmo that has been seen at Sevenstock is owned by Monte Mullins from Idaho. He purchased the car several years ago from a guy in North Carolina I think. The car has been in the U.S. since the early 1970s and he thinks it may have been purchased by one of the "big three" automakers for evaluation purposes. GO COSMO!

Finally my Images are hosted of the Mag. Remember this is via a Camera, as my Scanner/Copier doesn't work.

I think you can tell which file it is(there only 1 file).

I dont know where they get there comparative prices, as these cars seldomly ever trade hands. If the Toyota gt2000 can fetch 100k, why can't the Cosmo be worth more than 28k????

very ture and i think the cosmo is worth over 28k. my question is how mny people really knew there were two different models of the cosmo, the a and the b. the difference being the front of the car and the distance from the rear of the door to the rear fender. how many of eah are still around? which is worth more? but I would really like to know how many are around world wide...

Because the 2000 GT looks at least 4 times as cool. Sorry, but it does.

Is that the Curtis-wright 110 with 6000 miles that sold about 6-8 months ago for $25k? I arrived on the scene too late to bid.

Nice car. I would have bought it at that price, but I don't know how high I would have gone in the auction. How was the condition of the car?

The car was fair condition when I got it. it drove bad. I had to change many suspension parts as the rubber had seriously dry rotted. Best thing was it was complete. Some new parts were made using the old as patterns. ie. shifter boots, ***** etc. Drive train was gone though and serviced at Rick's Rotary. If you knoe Rick well, ask him about it, he has driven it. Seeing that you are in the bay area, you are welcome to come by and see it.

wow, are there just a few screw-ups in that page labeled "mazdas magnificent obsession"

the years are off but im assuming thats because of production and release dates in japan. But come on, there was no twin turbo 2nd gen, thats embarassing.
