13b-re water pump sender

I have a 13b-re in my fc running on a Haltech ECU. I am installing an electric fan and I was thinking to use the the sender in the water pump housing (it is not used) as a switch to activate the fan. Possible ? Do you know at a temperature it activates ? Thanks !

Why not use one of the outputs on the Haltech to activate the fan? Haltech has built in fan control.
