What is the difffernce between a 71-73 12A intake manifold and a 74+ 12A? Racing beat has different part number for each... but would a manifold for a 74 12a still fit onto a 73 12A? And if not, why won't it fit? Mounting? Porting alignment? etc.. and help is greatly apreciated. Thank you.

 

port size is different and the bolt pattern is different too

 

bolt pattern are the same for all 12-A's (4port) but the port size varies.

 

Yea bolt pattern was the same and port size seemed to be the same ( on the manifold side).. bought a manifold and weber carbs off ebay for $300 and figure if it didn't fit I would just resell them. After cleaning them up with some carb cleaner.. installed fine.. except for the fact the the manifold hit the water pump housing... nothing a little filing didn't fix... Got the car running fine.
