Send Eriksseven a PM. He knows him Garrett well. You would definately want to take a look at his FD, it is very nice. Red, 5-speed, good condition in and out.

Yeah, G-Money has been busy this weekend. He said he'll call you tomorrow (or something).

I'm such a "matchmaker", lol.

BTW, red might not be the 'theoretical' ULTIMATE color, but if you saw/drove the FD you'd be stoked, guarenteed. It's very clean and the history is well-documented. Although the 5th gear-synchro has a bit of a minor grind still, it's a petty issue when looking at the overall scope of a nearly 'flawless' FD for $13.5... Especially in the NW!

I dont think so. 10k then put 4k into mods. basically the same price your going to pay but you could go single.

well if the odomiter doesn't work in the car then it could have a mulitude of electrical problems along with the fact they have no idea how many miles the car has driven along with when the last rebuild was done. I mean that a huge as risk for a car that already is dying on you.

$4K into mods gets eaten up in a hurry before you even get a chance to mods a crappy car.

Tires, $500 for GOOD ones, more for GREAT
Clutch, $300+
Brakes, 125, Hawks + good fluid
Coolant hoses, $150+
Shocks, $500+
Suspension bushings, $250+
Alignment, $75

See where I'm going? Fixing up a crappy car takes a LOT of money, it is better to buy a nice one unless you get a smokin' deal on the crappy one. Even then many times it still doesn't work out to fix up the POS.

It still doesnt matter. the one your buying was a 10k piece of crap too that the dealer got, sprayed under coating on in then marked it up 4k. good luck with that, cus the engine will blow in about 6 months.

[B]I personally think 9,800 or less is about correct. It might be better to buy a car that is already set up the way you like... Even if this car you are looking at is mint and loaded I would keep the price down. If you name the price and tell him you will use his financing you may have success. Find out if there financing has early payment penaltys. With out the penalties if you have cash get the deal and pay it off a month later.
I was advised by a car sales manager to buy what you can at least put 50% down on. Its a nice rule Ived followed. I hope you get a nice car.
14,000 is too much and Interest rates are going up. Its not time to be loose with money. They can make a little and sell the next car.:

Well I am not letting those bastards that think they are so slick to rip me off, I know the car much better than they do. I am looking at my credit and to see where that is at, I'd much better like to buy the closest stock rx7 that I can, that sort of the idea and the make sure the engine and all of the other things work on it.
I will get a 7, maybe not now but I am sure as hell going to get one
