I would like to have had time to get aquainted to a few more people, namely kettleman, whom I've heard nothing but good about. So kettleman, if you read this, sorry I didn't get a little time to just chat. Anyway, seemed like a thousand friendly faces, and a million nice 7's, and a great time for everyone there. Sorry your friend didn't see it the same way, all I can say is, try again next year, and we'll try to do better.
Oh yeah, and the fight was cool. pretty quick though. I still don't know who was who, or what it was about, but I do know free beer came right after (thanks Don), and that really made it worth it.
I agree with Richard Miller,
You can't blame the rx-7 community, for the way that person felt. I mean it happens to us all sometimes you have bad days and feel left out or what not, but you have to be aggressive, and take controll of situations you got to go out of your way sometimes to make friends. I really only new two people there, but I got to meet several other people. Some went out of there way to talk to me, but mostly I had to talk to them. I would have had a good time either way.
I will however leave some of my suggestions for next year. For starters I didn't know where the hell the car show or dyno was supposed to be at? I knew who was hosting it but had no clue of the location. I think better coordination would have been that everyone knew in advance. Also I don't know what the possibilities of it would be, but shouldn't the dyno have been at the car show? And one last idea I think we should have had one eat event were we could have introduced ourselves and we could have talked about tech related stuff that would have been neat.

Well there are a few reasons things happened the way they did, and I agree you have to not be shy n all. I think if I was there it woulda been different... I've never had a problem because I'm clearly not too shy. Ya'll were way cool to me, I just think on the surface my bud may not have been approachable is all I can assume... Next year I will try hard to get the other Idaho guys to step up, stop whining, and come with me... and we will be bound and determined to penetrate your regional force fields........ lol
