Abel Ibarra beat that time YEARS ago. Somewhere in the 6.8 second range with a trap speed of over 200MPH.

Someone recently broke into the 6.7 range with a 20B but I forgot who it was.

And 1badsp, there time In that vid was 6.9. No 13B has ever gotten into the 6 second range that I know of, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Any more info on the car? I remember seeing a car very very similar to this but it was a 20B... this does sound like a 13b however. Odd.

That is Speedy Motorsports out of Puerto Rico, a 13B. The current 13B record is held by "La Otra" starlet. You can find the video on youtube.

Oh, I know the Aussies are good with rotaries, I was just saying it seems other people are catching up so they better get on top of it if they want to stay the best.

Does any one know if airplanes with 13b/20b engines have gone faster than 200mph?

Has there been a rotary at Bonneville; and what was its top speed?

And yes, before anyone cleverly explains how there is a difference between 200mph in the quarter mile and going 200mph in an airplane, I know they are different.

Yes bob, racing beat crashed their 3 rotor third gen at bonneville at 238 mph in what they called adverse weather.I have no idea about 200 in an airplane.but there have been many people that have rotaries. In aircraft.
