Won't Start -- Told Cold?

Hello and thanks for the great advice on Mazda Tech. I had my '88 in there and Andy got it running great. However, I haven't driven it for several weeks, went to start it today because my VW is in the shop and no go. It has power and I can hear the starter, could it be too cold? Any hints? Thanks...

Is it flooded? Common problem. If you have EFI you can floor the gas pedal and crank the engine. That will cut off the fuel and blow out whatever gas is already in there. Another trick is to remove the spark plugs and crank the engine. That'll create a fine mist of fuel so make sure there is no spark nearby!
