I just saw a nice red GSL-SE at the Renton Highlands Discount Tire, hey are yoyu on the forum?

I friend said that your shop was the place to buy autocross tires. I am looking for Khumo 710s for my 7.

Is your's the shop to buy from?

works at a discount tire and his name is Scott, not sure if he has a GSL-SE or if this is the right location.

Also Matt (hornbm) knows someone at a discount tire somewhere (sorry the memory goes sometimes). We traided GSL-SE rims for some aftermarket ones at one point form this person.

yup just got back from there, scott drives a red gsl-se with a mariah front bumper and cpracing flush lights

cool guy, got me in an out with new tires in 20 mins!

 

JEB I recommend you try looking on the SCCA forums for people selling scrubbed in tires although this is kinda the wrong time of year. I picked up 8 Victoracers for $700 new/shaved/heat cycled. Also got a set of V710s with about 70% life left for $150. I know you don't race a ton so you probably only go through a set a year. Buying slightly used might be a better route for you.

Also if you need those distance on the Fuel line you might want to speak now or forever hold your peace. I am going to install it here in the near future.

I have a Supra pump all wired up and ready to go if you are interested. Don't know what you have going on for fuel.

 

I bought a walbro pump but i think im going to get another one and run two intank. but well talk tires when we meet up at izzys, Im trying to bum a ride with <Rotorjoe> want to take a spin in his car. any ways well see ya there!

I hoping to free up some time, looks like I was, to help Scott on his FD. I'm planning on bring mine down on Sunday as a reference/guide while we try to put his back together. Mine has a lot of little things that should be done. My wastegate gasket should finally be here later this week. Along with that I'll be changing my oil/filter, plugs, 02 sensor which should be done before the weeks end.

Then he and I will probably car pool in my FD down to Izzy's on Monday. Its been a bit since I have been there, I miss you guys.



Yeah, I forget exactly how we traded what. But I remember you ended up with aftermarket rims, I had a set of stock ones and I foreget what Scott came out with. I hope he felt he got a fair share. I still have a set of nice stock SE rims for my SE once I ever get around to starting that project again. Too Busy!
