I bought a shell from Taylor at the beginning of this month (Wednesday May 4th), when I went to look at the car, it was full of garbage, the rear subframe/ suspension was dropped, and there was no front/ rear bumper and no front fenders. He told me all of those parts would be included with the car as well as an extra set of wheels, so I looked the car over and decided it was right for what I wanted to do with it, and so I bought it.

Taylor told me that when I came to pick the car up he would have it cleaned out and put back together. I made preparations to pick the car up and rented a trailer, I was supposed to go pick up the car on the 15th and so I did taylor texted me at like 5 in the morning on the 15th asking me to reschedule, I told him I couldn't because I had already spent close to $100 dollars on the trailer and he had almost 2 weeks to get the car ready. I went to pick the car up and it was still trashed. I called taylor, and no response, so i put it together cleaned it out and took it.
I called him probably like 15 times that day and texted him because the rest of the parts were not there (front and rear bumper, fenders and extra wheels)

so it has been almost 2 weeks of trying to contact him and I haven't heard a word aside from a text saying he could meet me in north tacoma to give me my parts and then of course never followed up

Anyone know how I can get a hold of him?

He's played the same Bullshit with me.. and a few others from what i hear.. from the looks of it he is not a top seller.. the SO SO type sellers that like to FIB a bit just to make extra cash.. But thats over.. My fault. small change, the point is Honesty was never there...

Number one. NEVER Pay for something If you cant get it on the spot.. If he wants a few bucks to Hold it till he can clean it up then thats another story.
But If he is Selling something And he Fails to make it avalible to SELL. then he should not Exept Money for it..
People try and take money for **** that does not even belong to them.
Im not saying he does.. But you never know. Im saying I could show you a Nice car in someone's garage and say ill hold it for you for a few grand.. You see what i am saying?

He has told me that, and I have tryed to be sympathetic but it has been almost a month and I still don't have all of my stuff, poor communication on his part has let me here. Its a bummer this is the first negative experience I have had with the rx7 community

U get what u pay for... If u paid 1g for a shell and it was missing bumpers/fenders and had,trash in it and subframes needed to b installed then u never should of bought it. But he sold this 'shell' for 2billz or less so u get what u pay for 'a shell' wich in turn all shells need wrk and are 'project cars'

Never give someone cash until everythng u expected/promised is in view and u hav document,stating whats included in ur purchase along with the seller, someone says I gta reschedule doesnt mean go pick up the car wen the seller is not even ther.

Taylor is going thru some extremely hard time right now so stop being a pest,relax and lay off this kid.

 

I don't care how much I paid for the damned thing, when you hand a man money on a deal you are supposed to get the goods you paid for. nuff said.
He sold the car to cover his *** and once he had it covered it "**** the guy I sold it to I got what I needed?"

He told me at 5AM THE DAY I WAS SUPPOSED TO PICK THE CAR UP after I had spent the money to get the trailer. which I did only because that was the day that was set for me to pick the car up. I didn't just pick the car up spur of the moment

I have a bill of sale for the car stating the only things missing are the engine, tranny, wiring harness, and rear end.

while I was waiting at another forum members (I will not mention his name out of respect for him) where the car was being stored he called didn't call ME but the other forum member, after said forum member was kind enough to try to get a hold of taylor for me and said he had been out of town all day because a family issue came up. that's fine those things are more important.

I didn't hear from him save for the text I got about a week ago AT ALL until today.

I am not trying to bust his chops I just want my parts, If he had even touched base with me at all before I had to call him and leave a voicemail threatening legal action, this post would never have been here.

 

Then u got EXACTLY what u payed for a 'SHELL' wich doesnt come with extra parts.

Here is the full story. Ill even get a little personal here so you all know im not a crook.

I posted my RX7 on The Boards here:


I needed this gone so I can pay my rent. I am unemployed and have been for quiet some time. We all understand why i needed to pay my rent, My daughter needs a ******* roof over her head.

So Anyways, Miles calls me. Inquiring about my RX7 Shell.

We agreed to meet so he can check it out. I Went Under what I wanted so I can just get the sale. I took $175 for the shell. We verbally talked about what would be included in the sale and what would not.

I told him that the car had no bumpers/fenders/ Interior was fucked and full of trash ect ect. I asked Miles on the phone if he had an extra set of wheels because my wheels were not included in the sale. He told me that he has a whole bunch of phone dial wheels. so instantly I got that He would bring some wheels becuase Im not including the wheels in the sale.

He Came out from Seattle, To Shelton to check out the car.

I had informed him that the rear struts where not attached to the subframe.

Buyer Beware.

He bought the car. As is. I told him if he gives me some time i will get the fender/bumper attached and get the wheels off and take the trash out.

A few days after he purchased the car I got arrested for DWSL. I had no money for gas and what not. I do not own a car. I ride a crotch rocket every where and I would have to borrow a car (put gas in it ofcourse) to get to shelton with the bumpers and what not to put the car together. Seeing I just paid rent I had no money, Hence I could not get out there.

I got a txt like the night before he wanted to come get the car saying he was going to have a trailer and what not i said ok but the car isnt together and asked if he could come get me w/ the fenders (and other parts) so we can put it back together when he took it, he reluctionally said yes.

Now here is where it all went to ****.

I was working on my friends eclipse all night and at like 5 am a family emergency came up and I had to leave town to take car of it for a Cpl days.

I sent him a text saying what went on, That we need to reschedule for another day when I was free and the car was put back together for him.

I had no problem putting the car back together. None at all But Other more inportant things came up. My daughter is way more important than some guy buying my pos old rx7.

I had been away from my phone all day and I got Dozens of Missed calls and angry txt messages from him.

If he saw my txt and he already had a uhaul trailer, Why not take it back say sorry I did not use this can i get my money back. We had to reschedule.

Nope, He Proceeded to come down to SHELTON from SEATTLE to pick up the car.

when i saw my phone I called the member where my car was parked at his house.

He said they were pissed ect.... and I told them to just take the car just take my wheels off. said and done and Ill get him the other parts later on.

The took the car, I didnt find out that my wheels were still on the car until later.

Over the next few weeks I get more calls and txt blah blah blah, I ahve more important things to deal with. I tried to line up a ride for me to get up to puyallup but that fell thru, I was going to meet him with the parts.

same **** until today

Seems like he has already sold my wheels or something. I tld him i have no way to get up to seattle and he woul dhave to come down here to get the parts. Im sorry I just dont have a truck or even a car, or even the gas money to drive up there.

All i got was a sob story about how he had to drive to carnation to "see" about getting my wheels and how he has to pay 60 bucks in gas to come down to oly. to get the rest of the ****.


The communication wasnt there and Im sorry for that, But God Damn. Im not perfect Im just human. You have no clue whats going on right now and I know every body goes thru hard times.

Miles- I apologize for this ****, but as I said u bring me my wheel and Ill give u the fenders, and bumpers. About the hatch and Hood, U need to Talk with the other party about that one. Thats not me

I hope this clears some **** up.

Im not abput people bad mouthing me and I have had plenty of transaction go just fine and great. I parted out almost all of that car, shipping parts accross the country with out a problem.
