Ahh its been forever since logging on here...but I get an email everyday on how this place wants me back (lmao@auto emails). Anyways, how is everyone doing??

Hopefully ill make it out to a couple meets before the season is over.

Nope not anymore, sold my 89 GTUs to a guy in sumner...now rolling a semi-built mr2-t.
I met and still talk to quite a few people on here. So figured I would at least see whats been going on in the community.
Apparently ryan got a mr2?

That might be his name, I don't remember. I actually traded it for a boosted civic. Which was a mistake, but I got into too much trouble in the 7. I would get it back, it just isn't fast enough. If i go back rotary its Turbo II. or FD.

Haha I know, it's hard to note my sarcasm about that in my original post.

My FC was fun to slide around and was very forgiving with high speed corners and turning.
But the excitement wasn't ALWAYS there. Driving my FC everyday almost got annoying. I don't know, I want another one, but everything about my mr-2 just seems more....solid i guess?
Guess you gotta drive them both to appreciate them.
But they are both some of the best early 90's sports cars ever built.
ever drive an FD? feels pretty solid to me, haha. i've driven an mr2 also, a non turbo version unfortunately. but that thing is pretty fun to drive, its kinda hard to push that car though with that snap oversteer it loves to do with all the weight in the back. you should come down to the taco7 meet, i'd love to see your MR2.

I will be at the meet, im hoping it stays dry ( doesnt look like it though) the car is all clean right now :P.
Unfortunately I have yet to have the opportunity to drive an FD. I agree with the snap oversteer, there was actually 2 different rear cross members. 91-92 and 93+
They revised it in 93 to be more "safe" because of magazines complaining about the snap oversteer and it being unsafe and dangerous.
The 91-92 is a lot more lively and spirited but unforgiving at its limits. Once you drive one / auto-x it enough, you learn the limits, how to prevent over steer and more so the infamous snap oversteer.
Im more then willing to take someone for a ride in it while there if they wanna see how it feels.
All healed up now
You gonna be out at the taco meet?
