Heres last years Poker Run...if you all wish to do it again.



POKER RUN



Entry Fee: $5.00 per person that wishes to play a hand
Note: You may buy more than one hand
First place- 60% of total pot
Second place- 30% of total pot
Third place- 10% of total pot
Note: To insure fairness, when picking your card at each stop you will pick your card face down, sign the back of your card. Your card will then be put in a separate envelope, sealed and your signature over the seal. If you choose to buy more than one hand. Each card will be numbered hand 1, hand 2 etc…


CARD 1

Just before leaving Steel Lake Annex:


Take a left out of Steel Lake Annex (312th Street) or if were at Steel lake itself then turn Right out of Steel Lake.

Turn right at 3rd light (Pacific Hwy So)

Turn left at 3rd light (Dash point rd/hwy 509).A shell station is on the right side.


Continue on dash point road, approximately 3 miles. Look for the sign that says SW 509 Dash point Rd, and turn right. Road will then begin winding, drive with caution. Keep following Dash point road, You will enter the town of DASH POINT/BROWNS POINT (5.7 miles)

Turn right into the Cliff house Restaurant.Across the street from the Cliff house Restaurant is a fairly big parking lotgo there and here you will receive your CARD 2


Turn left out of the parking lot across from the Cliff House restaurant (Dash point rd 509). You will start going downhill. Dash point rd will change to Marine View Drive. Follow Marine view drive and the speed will turn to 50mph. (5.3 miles)

Follow the sign that says City Center next left- stay to left (speed turns into 60mph).

Take the Seattle Portland/Rustin Way exit (705 north) this is the Schuster Park way /Rustin way exit. (3.7 miles)

Follow and stay in the left lane and take the Schuster Parkway exit.

Take Rustin way waterfront (Speed limit 30). DO NOT SPEED THROUGH HERE!! (2.2 miles).

On waterfront you will go through one light, one blinking light, then approximately one mile after the blinking light, turn right at MARINE PARK/LES DAVIS PIER.

Here you will receive card 3

Turn right out of park

Keep following waterfront for about 1.7 miles, and go through the old rustin way tunnel.

Go through stop sign
Turn right at light (Point Defiance/ Vashion ferry)

Keep forward towards the entrance of Point Defiance park/zoo.
Enter Park

Stay to the left past the rose garden

Follow road that says Zoo/five mile drive.

NOTE: Pay attention!!!!! to all the signs directing you through the 5-mile course. Speeds only 20mph you hot rodders….lol.
Just before leaving the zoo and five-mile drive, pull over to the right and get Card 4
__________________________________________________ ________________

Go through stop sign upon leaving zoo.

Turn left at the next light (North 51st street)

Follow through tunnel and water front again.

When leaving waterfront, stay in left lane to freeway entrance.

Follow sign that says North to Seattle. Take North Seattle exit. You will see the Tacoma

Dome on left side of freeway.

Follow I-5 North

Take exit 143 Federal way So. 320th st

Turn left off of 320th

Get in Right lane

3rd Set of lights turn right on (23rd Ave So)

Stay in right lane, and turn right on (317th street)

Follow 317th to stop sign

Turn left on 312th

Left into Steel Lake Annex.


Here you will receive CARD 5

Sure you got the % right it add's up to 110% might want to change that.

I will definitely be there. I am brand new to the FD community. I bought a 410whp single turbo FD two weeks ago. I look forward to meeting all of you.

hell yeah. poker run for sure. glad to see everybody there. the date hasn't changed. the reason for sunday is it was voted on at our monthly meetings at izzy's. mainly cause a few who been puttin money in the pot for food couldn't make it on saturday.

I plan on being there. I don't know if I will bring the car or not, fitting three people into an RX7 is hard enough, that long a drive and I think I will meet the local state police.


Either two cars will come up or I will bring out the Fairlane and drive her up.

BYOB or keggs or what??? Keg's should be filled with only the best as that is what we rotor heads are all about. So I reccomend Beck's Dark, St' Pauli's or at the very least a Hiney filled keg. Dontaions accepted I hope!!!

It adds up to 100% did you pass basic addition math?

I'll be there...the week before im doing an OR coast run, then this, then the week after im doing a Teckademics meet back down on the OR coast...which means I don't drive the FD much right now to save miles and gas $$. woohoo!!!!
