Big Bbq In August!
Every monthly meeting we collect money for this end of the year BBQ. This is the 2nd annual end of the year big BBQ. Lets see if we can make it as big as last year. Please PM Kettlman if you will be attending so that he knows how much food to buy, and so he can make the list of the listee's.

DIRECTIONS FROM TACOMA
1. Merge onto I-5 N toward SEATTLE
2. Take the S. 320TH ST. exit- exit number 143- toward FEDERAL WAY.
3. Turn LEFT onto S 320TH ST.
4. Turn RIGHT onto 23RD AVE S
5. Turn RIGHT onto S 312TH ST

2. Take the S. 320TH ST. exit- exit number 143- toward FEDERAL WAY.

Ok all it seems no one is motivated lately. Lets make Kettlman happy and get a good gathering for him, for this end of the year big BBQ that he works hard hosting. Lets get the list going

 

Heh yeah... seems like everything is breaking or going wrong for everyone.
It'll be nice to see everyone's car back up though
Last years BBQ ruled, I just regret that I had to leave early.

I'm going to cross my fingers, toes and whatever else I can cross to make this BBQ this year. I wish to hopefully bring Blue and Iotus along with a few of us Eastern WA peoples. Would be nice if it was on Saturday instead of Sunday for traveling/work reasons, but will see. I will keep you up to date Kettlman closer to the date. Count us in so far.

How would everyone feel about another Poker run like last year???

 

I guess i can make it since i still live in federal way. I can bring my big cooler and shiny new bbq if needed! Let me know what else, I can bring my work van over If any one breaks down or whatever.

 

I think I'll be there. I'll see if I can get some local rotorheads from my area to come on down with me.

 

I'm totally up for this, i'll plan on being there, unless i'm under restraint for some reason.

 

I will ,ake it but unfortunatley it will be on my b-day and I will have to leave around 7 or so. How late do thes BBQ's usually go? I am hoping...really hoping thta my project will be done by that time!

As long as my CO does not change the schedule for the ship then I will be there its a major possibility that he wont but you never know duty calls so I will let you know closer to the date....

 

z-beater, I think they end at 5PM.

 

I think Bstrange99, Darlene, and Ray so far will be coming to the BBQ. Were going to try to get a caravan going here from Eastern WA. Will keep you up to date Kettlman as to how many of us will make it.

I'm hoping to make it, but as cb2 said, it'd be easier if it was on a saturday. I just don't know if I should bring SUPERCAR or not. After all, it is the fastest car on the planet, and a lot of people are intimidated by it.

Seeing that I have the laughing stock of a car in the forum, and its an embarrashment of a car, and I'm sure the 85 will be considered the same, I have decided to pass on the BBQ this year. Enjoy and take lots of pics.

I'd like to come, and probably bring a friend along, if thats alright. New to the RX-7 scene, and definately stoked to check out some of the other nicer 7's in the area.
