Welding Gun Anyone?

I been thinking of replacing my cat with a glass pack and having the end of the cat where it bolts to my main exhaust to be added to the glass pack to make it a bolt-on glass pack. Is there anyone near seattle that might not mind doing that for me if I get the glass pack?

Hey I preceive you know what you are doing however, Ive read that if you put glass pack on the exaust for a rotery moto r it will burn up/melt. The exaust temps are higher.... It is a very temporay deal. So why would you want to do it this way? I am taking notes. O.k. Latinheat

just cause i told him to. the glass pack that i used for my wifes has been doing good. it's not the best, only like $25 but it is well built and even if the fiberglass burns out, it's still got alot more muffle capabilities than a straight pipe. stop by midas one day and ask to see there littlest glass pack and take a look at it. yell as loud as you can thtrough it. it's cool.

Hey 1noblerider, Well my CAT is cracked and is smoking toward the engine so I get all that smoke when I have the air on or when ever I am sitting at a light. Not good for me I would be much more happier if it when toward the back. Trying the cheaper route over getting a down-pipe from Racing Beat.

Well at this point what else am I going to do? lol I mean you really have to sit behind the pipe to get a good contact. So, I should be fine unless I get my self a High Flow CAT. Which is alot of money anyways hehe.

they will melt. And they're loud and offer no power benifit. The louvers cause soo much turbulance it's easier for the engine to push 1/2" of steel. that's all... don't use it...
