The drive is on for sunday. Same route and meeting place. Starts at noon in Wilsonville in the fry's parking lot.

It should be nicer so lets hope for the best!

I'm supposed to be in a "rally" this weekend.. though I'm getting unsure about it at this point [it was supposed to be a bracket race style cruise, but now it's looking like a glorified cruise.. going to talk to the person that got me into it about that to see what the deal really is]

Have fun...

yeah we pulled off the main road to take a back road. I took off and couldnt see him behind me. I get to a stop sign and wait and then we realized that something must have happened. So I get back to the corner and find out what happened.

He said he took the corner too fast and the back end began to slide out and he over-corrected and then locked the brakes up. They hit pretty hard but everyone was ok.

From what I saw the car is toast. The front clip is bent in and the radiator is pushed against the motor.

It was definitely a scary thing and hopefully a lesson will be learned from this. Stock tires arent the best and yes we rx7 owners dont have ABS. Also knowing your car and driver skill's limits and being ok with slowing down. I realized that i have alot more done suspension wise having someone follow you with stock setup isnt the best idea.

Good news is he should be able to part it out and at least make what he bought it for.

GSL rear end, tranny, and motor are all in great shape. Interior is also great so he said he should have some stuff for sale.

Its definitely sad that he lost his car, but thankfully he and his passenger are ok
