Wanting a new EMS
Wanting a new EMS
I know this should be in the EMS section, but i was wondering what everyone in the NW thought. I'm not a tuner by any means so i don't want something that i have to wire up completely and build all my own maps, some sensors and what not, is OK.
With that said I have been working on imports for close to 10 years now, and I found a 93 FD in a used car lot that had been in a wreck and I am rebuilding it form ground up. I have a JDM, RHD front clip that is going to be replacing all the bad parts of the frame, and the firewall, so there will be a JDM engine and wiring harness in it.
I was looking at the AEM, but it does not seem like to many people are using it, and I would like to have a little more data logging capability than the Power FC looks like it can do. Correct me if I'm wrong on the fact that the Power FC can data log well.
Mods will change the engine include:
3" Turbo back exhaust...prob no cat
Blitz intake
V-mount intercooler
Greddy elbow W/greddy BOV
EGR Block off plate
Light weight Flywheel
Light weight/under drive pulleys
stage 2 clutch (any suggestions on a clutch, not a 4-6 puck)
Stock twins
Stock port job.....prob going with a street port in 6 months or so
Sorry for the long post.

I second what CJ said. You can't go wrong with the Power FC. User friendly, tons of support, harness plugs right into it, and it already has a base map for the car! And you can't beat the prices on here...
