WANTED help with 93 FD!!!

Im new with the whole mazda thing i need someone that has some experience with rotorys to come and help my out on my FD, Im really familar with nissans and toyotas not so much with rotorys yet, previous owner removed the emissions, wiring looks kind of like a haggered, if anyone is willing to help me out Ill by them lunch and pay for gas Im in the Everett Lynwood area. Car was running alright when i traded my cbr 954 for it, week after i got it i blew a map sensor when i was out driving, putted it home below 3000 rpms, checked codes and it was a 13 which is pressure sender aka map sensor so i bought another map sensor off ebay installed it car ran perfect after another day i drove to my buddies house and car just died on me, since then it will start idle for 10 sec and then die, check engine light is on but i don't know what code its throwing what could this be?? i had to tow the car to my place and since then its sat. someone please help!!!

Sounds like it could be a map sensor issue... Did you intstall the little vacuum hose on the map sensor?

yes of course, well the thing is i replaced the map sensor once already, could the new one i installed gone bad in one day?

Most likely not. It just sounds like how the car acts when that hose becomes disconnected... It's so often simple things. I've had the same problem before and it was always the map sensor hose falling off or me forgetting to attach it to the map sensor.

What map sensor are you using?

zip ties on vacuum lines are helpful on boosted engines. might want to do that and see if it keeps that line on if in fact it did come off.

no the line has never came off that would be an obviouos thing and i would have slipped it back on the nipple on the map sensor if that did ever happen.....so would anyone like to help me with the fd? pm me and Ill send u my #
