what is the cutoff year for exemption from emissinons over here? ive only been living over here for a week and cant seem to find the info for it.

Gasoline and diesel vehicles 5-25 years old need an emission test every other year. Your registration renewal notice will tell you if your vehicle needs a test. In 2007, odd-numbered model years 1983 through 1995, plus 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2002 vehicles need an emission test before licensing. No motorcycle or scooter testing required.

It is just a thing for renewing tabs online, it wont let you do it if online without emmisons SO its a good way to check. You dont need to finish and pay so don't worry.

 

if only it was 20 years I would have my 87 T2 tabbed.
