Traffic Lawyer in pullman?

I got a ticket in Pullman. I was driving on a 2 lane road and was going over a hill and right as I came over the hill I saw a cop going the other direction. He flipped his lights on right away and flipped a u-turn and pulled me over. Gave me a ticket for 65+ in a 55.. He said I was going 76 though. The ticket is only $91, i dont really care about that but I cant get it on my record because I have a deferral right now. So if there is any way I get keep it off my record would be great.

Well that sucks for you. You chose to speed, so take the punishment

There was a really good one my friend used but he had to pay like $100 for the lawyer, but when the ticket is $500 it was worth it...

Sorry buddy that is out of my lawyer's district.

But hey, from what you say it sounds like he may not have gotten you on radar and judging the rate of someones speed is much more diffiucult coming head on. Because if he said you were going 76mph then why did he not write the ticket for that? Was he giving you a break?

I've been pulled over many of times and they said they got me on radar but when you request to see the radar its either off or flashing a lower speed. So he could have missed locking in your speed for a second therefore giving you a second to hit the brakes and slow down. So when it was locked into the radar it was lower then the inital speed he said your were going (and what you were probably doing).

Even if you were speeding or in the wrong don't ever let into that because you end up self incriminating yourself. Make them prove their case against you.

Fight each and every one. Don't go down without out a fight. Good Luck.

Joe

I haven't sent the ticket in yet... If I can get a lawyer then I'm going to contest it but if I cant then i'll just pay it. So does this guy do the Pullman district? and you said he only charges $100?

ya, it was around $100. He is kinda a family friend, and yes he does the Pullman district. The only problem is his dad just died so he is in hawaii right now fighting the rest of his family for estate and whatnot. So, as of right now he isn't available, he said they will likely be done in 3 weeks, but it could go longer, or shorter, so pretty much I wouldn't count on him. If you go to the college you should ask around.
